This is not a fashion blog . . . This is a Style Blog.

SOME LIKE IT HOT . . .

. . . Well, we sure do.

This Thursday night, come on down to the Upstairs Cabaret in downtown Victoria for a fashion & style treat that will knock your pretty little socks off!

We've been invited to attend and we are soo beyond excited! Would be great to see you all there!

VICTORIA BC - JANUARY 13th, 2011, UPSTAIRS CABARET – Local boutiques come together to represent unique fashion trends. Bliss Boutique, Charlie & Lee, and Citizen Clothing will play host to a night of fashion and music.

As a throw back to the 1950's, the fashion show will highlight male and female classic dress wear. The recent swing of Victoria's "hipster" fashion trend goes hand in hand with the fashion show and the boutiques. To compliment the fashion show, DJ Blondtron will be spinning music throughout the night.

Blondtron is an internationally recognized DJ from Vancouver who will bring a unique sense of fashion and music to the show. Having worked with such labels as Chanel, Blondtron has deep roots within the fashion community. As a tribute to music and fashion, Blondtron will set the night off with electronic style. (Check out some of her music here & on her SoundCloud page). Supporting Blondtron will be local DJ Fatso. Disputably the most musically collective DJ in town, Fatso brings a wealth of knowledge, adapting to every situation.

Each event sponsor represents its own market. Bliss Boutique represents women's fashion and is Victoria's go-to for stylish, vintage-inspired clothing. Charlie & Lee will flaunt the runway in their stunning shoes and coveted lingerie. Citizen Clothing brings classic men's fashion into the contemporary with James Dean inspired looks. Lab, a community focused salon will be styling the hair for the show and key make-up artists Lindsey Gibson and Aleta Eliasen will be designing the looks.
